Alright.. I deleted 3 messages that were off topic, didn't want to but people just wouldn't stay on topic and it wasn't relevant to anything.... so couldn't just dump it in a new thread.. though I might do that from now on if it continues.
But please stay on topic for this thread.

Hubbard has to like what we have going on in the SEC versus UVA. Liking our shot here.

Virginia is less than half the distance for him, but I agree that as a football program today, MSU is on a different plain than UVA.

Distance shouldn't be as much of a factor with him, since his parents are planning to move to wherever he goes to school.

So, have any of the recruits been to any of our fall practices to see the MoorCoach in action?
If anything, having 5 former head coaches on staff being experts in their areas of coaching, dang that is exciting. No more GAs coaching wide receivers.

I thought during a dead period that players could still contact coaches or visit on their own dime. I thought the dead period only pertained to the recruiters?

There can be no face to face contact.

That is for the best. Lets the coaches coach without worrying about Prima Donna #X wanting attention at practice.

On the recruiting front, you have to believe the cruits are seeing what JoMo is saying about the fall and what he is saying in their living rooms as a good sign. Moorhead is going to be in great position when we start beating folks, and I bet he doesn't squander that headway.

I think all Joe has to prove is that he can get the results on the field. Once that happens our recruiting will improve even more because then other schools can't use "they're a run heavy team" on us anymore.

I may have missed it last week, but who is the latest off-the-field recruiting office hire?
