He just needs to catch the damn ball and stop throwing it into outer space when they try to steal. We can live with a weak hitting catcher. We can't survive with one that has 30 dropped catches a game.

He's horrid at framing the pitch, though....no telling how many strike calls that costs us, let alone strike outs.

Gotta learn to catch it before you can learn to frame it. Does he catch with his eyes closed? I know I am being rough here but I seriously haven't seen a catcher drop so many pitches since 12 year old little league ball. He must of been super nervous tonight.

That's about like saying all our QB has to do is learn how to throw the ball to our guys and learn how to run the ball.
