Basketball is peaking
We are playing our best ball of the year right now. Our offense has improved DRASTICALLY in the last few games. We play USCe Saturday at home at 2:30. The chance to go to the tourney is here, just win the next 3 and we?re in.

We definitely do not know that.

99% we do. 11-7 in conference. 4th best team in the deepest conference, they’re not leaving us out in a 7-8 bid league.

Winning the next 3 would put us at 23-8 (11-7), and probably tied for 2nd in a conference that all the experts are clamoring about. Our RPI would probably be high 40s.. we would most certainly be in.

We are playing the best basketball right now that we've played in 7 or 8 years.
This program is on the cusp of big things. At some point this season, Howland's defensive, tough culture began to take root.
It took a little longer than most here wanted, but with the signing class we have coming in & the way we are currently playing, the sky is the limit

We just do not know that. At all.
We can say we think we should be in all we want, but we don't know anything. The committee does not like major conference teams who schedule as weakly as we did in the OOC. That's a fact. We are going to have to get ourselves off the bubble entirely, and that will be difficult.
Lunardi doesn't have us in the first 8 teams out right now. Beating SC and LSU will do little. Obviously Tennessee would be a big win. But there is no way for us to know that winning those 3, then losing our first game of the SECT, would get us in. Maybe, sure. Probably? Perhaps. But not definitely.

LSU has a chance to be a Q1 road win. We need South Carolina to win all games but ours to make that a Q1 road win

We play SC at the Hump. Only road game we have remaining is LSU.

It took 2.5 years. Considering where we were when he came in and the fact that his team in year 1 was basically all seniors, that's quite fast. Hence why there was a contingency of us on here telling y'all to chill out when y'all were melting and calling for his head at the beginning of the season.

Was about to say the same thing. He has us as 8th. They talked about it last night on SEC Network.

He does not, not right now. He has UGA in that spot.

We win out and we’re in. No doubt

I just don't think winning the next 3 and then losing our first game in the SECT definitely gets us in. You disagree and that's fine, but there is no way to say there is no doubt that we would get in under that scenario. None of the information out there (and there is a lot of it) confirms that. Only State fans are saying this.
