Well, if you consider Canton Academy a high school - which they do have.
I think his brother moved to Canton to play for the coach there? I'm pretty sure I saw that on Twitter. Velma Jackson is Pickens.

I can?t believe that two last second losses on the road had people thinking we were not a good basketball team. We may not make NCAAs but if we don?t we will at least make semis of NIT. I still think it?s better than 50-50 that we make the big tourney. Obviously a big game Tuesday but A&M is short handed and had their ass handed to them by Arkansas today.

I was just wondering how they could choose which school to go to. Seems they'd have to go to the HS in their district. Unless the parents moved around.

Did you know a lot of Hollanders commute to work using speed skates on the frozen canals? At least according to Katy Couric ....

Canton HS is the city school. It’s in its own school district. Velma is a county school in NE Madison. It’s part of Madison County Schools, like MC and Germantown.

I assume they don't make a lot of money, but it would be pretty sweet to see different parts of the world and play basketball. Jamont's played in Italy, Croatia, Turkey (eh). Charles Rhodes has played in Latvia, South Korea, Spain, the Philippians (another eh).

Good job everyone we went the entire thread without melting on each other or on any one player on our team. That is rare. Excellent win! **** off Andy Kennedy
