Obviously need an Arkansas win. We only get them the one time this year so we need them to be as strong as possible. Auburn has a really good RPI, so that could potentially help us out quite a bit of they could get a win.

UGA killing bama. I thought bama was supposed to be good this year

They blasted aTm at home to start sec play. They have lost last 2 games (vandy and Georgia) now on the road. Road wins will be tough in the sec

aTm had their best player Hogg suspended the first two SEC games. He returns today.

Best player is debatable. Williams avgs 10 rebs a game and over 2.5 blocks. Davis is very good too

UGA beats Bama and jumps 20 spots in RPI to #40 (per Warren Nolan) while Bama drops 14 spots to #42. We're #56 having already jumped 18 spots on the week with our win over Arky on Tuesday. Would be interesting to see how high we jump with a road win in Oxford.

I would really like to see us embarrass Mississippi today (payback), plus let's end any thought of an annual sweep early!
-
I suppose I don't understand basketball rankings. A&M has lost 3 games and they're ranked #11 nationally. And they're 0-2 in conference play.
-
It really doesn't matter whether Arkansas or Auburn wins - we only play each once. It won't make any difference on our RPI. Theoretically we should hope that our double opponents (Ole Miss, Missouri, Vanderbilt, South Carolina, and Alabama) win as many games as possible to tease up our RPI, but it won't really make a huge difference.

Florida beat Missouri with a steal and layup just before time expired.

They were ranked 5th with a win over West Virginia and a 3-point loss to Arizona. Then they lost to Georgia last week to fall to 11 and lost once this week.
Even with a win today, they'll definitely drop again next week.

Just flipped to the LSU/A&M game (primarily so I wouldn't forget and miss the start of ours). It's tied at 60 with about 3 minutes left. So yeah, they'll probably drop in the rankings. Good chance they'll lose, but even so, it's close.

Now they have 4 losses. 69-68 LSU wins.
-
How in the F*ck did LSU win that one? Looks like their football luck has spilled over to basketball.

And LSU beats aTm with a 35-foot trey with .1 second left. Road wins -- we gotta find a way to win today!
