Best Bars you have been to in Mississippi.
The Coast - Hands down TO's. Timothy O'Sullivans in Gulfport, destroyed in Katrina.
Hattiesburg - the 1st Endzone - Hardy Street
Jackson - Cherokee Inn. State Street. best cheeseburger in the area.

Mac’s Supper Club
That place was a one of a kind.

Well it wasn't a real bar but a good nite at The Crossroads couldn't be beat/

Since it is common knowledge the Mississippi Delta started in Natchez and ended at the Peabody Hotel, I'll go with Platinum Plus.

Everybody should know Memphis is the northern most city in Mississippi. More Mississippi people there than Tennessee.

What was the disco/dance club in Columbus back in the early 80's?
-
Starkville- Dave’s but my heart has a soft spot for Rick’s & dollar you call it night
Coast- Mizzo’s now called MS Juke Joint in OC. Triple Tails on the other side
Jackson- Hamp’s Place on Wednesday night used to be epic years back. I was typically the only white guy there. You’d routinely see Moet and/or Crystal bottle service and you could probably fail a drug test after walking through there. And keep in mind, this was on Wednesdays in Jackson, MS.

My bad, these are actually some of the worst.

The Blue Parrot in old town Bay St. Louis before the storm. Loved that place.
Hal & Mal’s in Jackson was fun before it went away.
Dave’s in Starkville is honestly the only one worth mentioning that’s still around, but Flo & Eddie’s was the best.
I like Bowie’s in Natchez too.

I?m assuming that is what later became Classix in the 90s. It was a country bar mainly, but the disco era ?mothership? was still on the ceiling.
