I would rather them wait until Friday morning, but hey.... we's take what we's can get.

Same....I want us to pile drive their dicks in the dirt Thursday nght in front of the entire USA on ESPN primetime and then have them wakeup to crippling sanctions in the morning that will lay waste to their football program for a decade.
Karma is a bitch.
ETA: Someone needs to take the gif in my signature and put the NCAA logo over the Memphis player.

Missouri took the screen shot. Neal quickly deleted the tweet. Neal does not have a blue checkmark.

If he tweeted it, then deleted it, it was because he was told to. And if he was told to, that means ole miss is trying to delay the announcement until after the egg bowl, while at the same
Time telling their mouthpieces to bitch about the announcement being delayed.

Ole Miss has zero control of when it gets announced. If he deleted it he was told to because he found out it was incorrect information or someone hacked his account.

IF (emphasized) he actually tweeted this and then deleted it, it means one of two things.
1. Tomorrow is the day (no other leaks so.. doubtful) and OM told him to take it down while they got their shit together
or
2. He is/was wrong

Wasn't there a rumor going around that the NCAA was putting out false info to see who leaks it first?

Last week there was a post about sanctions that were released to the school on the 10th, and withheld from the public to see if there were leaks.

That's not true. That's what they want you to believe, but if ole miss has a compelling reason (such as student athlete safety) to withhold the announcement, and the NCAA doesn't oblige and someone gets hurt, who's liable?

The ncaa releases the sanction, not Ole Miss. If the ncaa decides to hold the release they will. They may take input from OM on something like the player safety issue, but OM in no way has the final say so when the sanctions are announced and wont be the ones announcing The sanctions.

That’s not how this works. The NCAA tells the school when they are going to release the information, usually they tell the school in the morning that the information will be released that afternoon. So I don’t believe Neal is correct, unless it comes out today.
Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

The NCAA gives the school a 24 hour heads up of WHEN sanctions will be released but they do not get to see the final report or know the penalties until just a few hours before the release on the day of the release.

So, today is (maybe) the day?

That I agree with, but ole miss does have influence over how and when the sanctions are announced. The ncaa will Work with them in that. They won’t allow it to be prolonged forever, but if OM makes a compelling case that waiting a few days could mitigate safety concerns, the ncaa will likely accommodate that request.

Safety for who? The only people I can see who need to be worried because of some whack out fan is Leo and Koby. I think if Ole Miss is asking for a delay they have other motives other then safety.

I can promise you that’s not their true motive, but that’s what they’ll say when requesting the delay. I imagine they’ll want it immediately after the egg bowl. Might be Friday, going into rivalry week, when they announce. It’ll die quickly and spare them a prolonged national embarrassment that a Monday/Tuesday announcement would. They’re PR specialist. They want a Friday announcement on a game weekend, after their season is concluded. I promise.
