I don't trust his skill set. Oklahoma is known for producing overhyped QBs.
As far as his temper he reminds me of Phillip Rivers. He is a punk who will never win big because he comes up short in the big moments. I'll pass.

Maybe but this thread was about the nfl draft. I don?t think he?s gonna be a good nfl qb my opinion

It could certainly be the case. Picking qbs is not easy. I really like mayfield though

Phillips rivers is a pretty dang successful nfl qb. I?m sure baker would take phillip?s career right now

Yes. No problem with moxie.

"Hey, get your Prostates checked."

I think he is better then Sam Darnold and the Allen kid from UCLA.

Ryan Tannehill has been pretty good. RG3 was NFL ROY before his career was derailed by injuries.

McShay now has Mayfield as the #28 overall pick.
(Also Martinas Rankin at #31.)

Manziel had the physical skillset to be a NFL QB (probably never a great one, but good enough to still be starting for the Browns). He was too much of a head case and addict to ever live up to his potential.
I don't think Baker Mayfield has comparable mental issues.

Phillip Rivers is a successful regular season QB. He puts up big stat but he has never been able to push his team over the top. I call him a punk because he blames his teammates when things go south instead of being a real leader. That’s why the Chargers are an afterthought in the NFL instead of a contender.

I cannot stand Rivers, but he has been a good qb

Yes. And while I wouldn't have drafted Manziel in the first round, I would have jumped on him in the 4th round because the gamble would have been worth it. People on this board unwilling to draft Mayfield in a 7 round draft are crazy.

Whatever problems you have in life, money & fame make them bigger.
If you have a drinking & drug problem, then fame & money make you a bigger alcoholic & druggie.
The key to deciphering Baker Mayfield is digging on his personal life to figure out if he is just an ultra competitive ass-hole or if he has real issues in his personal life.
The public intoxication in Fayetteville over the Summer is a good place to start. Whether or not he will be successful in regards to his makeup, are questions that us as casual fans simply cannot answer.
As an organization, you have to figure out "who he really is"
For example: teams that downgraded Dak because of the his DUI did a poor job of finding out who Dak really was. Dak's DUI was out of character for him.
That's what people have to answer about Baker

5’9 is too short for the NFL unless you play slot for the Pats.
