Are we done with basketball recruiting for this cycle or are we planning on adding more guys in the spring?

Not to derail this thread, but 2018 and beyond.

That's 11 scholarship players this year and no seniors.

We signed 3 players for next year, 14 players overall. Either one player goes to the draft or one gets processed.

    Reggie Perry PF 6-9 200 5*****
    Robert Woodard SF 6-6 220 4****
    DJ Stewart SF 6-6 190 4****

You have maybe Peters and/or Q going to the draft? Highly speculative at this point though.

What are we looking at going forward in 2019? How many are we most likely looking to sign and who are the top prospects? I wish we had a pinned basketball recruiting thread like we do for football.

If you compare that roster to Ray's or even Stans, it's no comparison on talent.

    Time to win !!!

Us expecting it and Lamar wanting it isn't making the NBA draft him 1st round though so discussion needs to be taking place on if/when he comes back next year

We are finished for this year. Already looking out to next year, really need a big low post presence, a true 5. The numbers always work out in basketball, no worries.

We'll have these discussions again in May & June. We're preparing for him not to be here because the NBA is preparing to draft him in the 1st rd. We'll see in some months though.

Didn't we have to talk Eli Wright into coming back this year? This much talent will be hard to keep someone from leaving for more playing time. I imagine you will just have to look at minutes per game in February and figure it out barring some kind of Newman or Kegler issue with their handlers.

Yea I just don't want to lose Peters when I don't think he's gonna get drafted in the 1st round. Only 1st round picks are guaranteed spots on teams. We will be very thin at PG without Peters next year. I'd rather it be spot #13 on the bench that goes than our starting PG that is gonna get ****ed over by the NBA.

So, when are we going to win some games?

(I admittedly do not watch basketball until the NCAAs and at minimum, midway through SEC play)
