    Mullen post game...

Said he came here to win a championship and he is going to do that. And after he does that he is going to win a second. Sure sounds like he wants to jump ship to me.

Man, I hope he stays forever if he can get the effort out of a team like last night.

He's one hell of a recruiting Class away form being able to. This year should be good and next year with the Senior Class in the State of Mississippi if he can put 7 or 8 of the Dandy Dozen it could get there. They need to go 9-3 this season and end up ranked really high next season.

With Auburn winning I think a NY6 game is out of the question this season unless some crazy things happen.

He told McElroy the same thing he told Andre Ware: I love living in Starkville and I'm not interesting in leaving. He also said he has invested nine years building this program and it's not easy to just walk away from it.

Dan's gonna be around for a good while longer.

Probably, but the Citrus or Outback (prefer the Citrus) is a helluva nice consolation prize considering what we were thinking at the start of the season. It's just awesome what this team and CDM are putting together now (and over the next couple of years).

I've been looking for the audio but Dan is here to stay.

You could hear in his voice. This game hurt him. He really wants to win a championship here, finish what he started. His words and emotion made that very clear in his post game with Neil Price.

I think he wants to do it simply because so many say it can't be done.

He has been saying this all along. We just can’t help ourselves when the Confederates and thier allies start their disinformation campaigns with the rumors.

If he were to win the SEC alone in this era, he will have cemented his name forever in college football's history books. Doing it at a historical blue blood program wouldn't be near the accomplishment and he knows that.

Add a natty to that and then the shit goes nuclear.

I think the fact that he has looked around in the past and stayed helps in a way because I think he knows how good he has it at MSU and what our potential is compared to say Maryland.

Sometimes people look for other jobs and realize that the one they currently have is the best one for them. I think that's the case with Dan.

Dan has done a much better job at squashing any job rumors the past two years since he hired his new agent after 2015. It's not MSU fans saying he's leaving.

We need to buy tickets, donate, & get our asses to the games! We give Mullen what he needs, he’s going to get it done. Recruiting is picking up. We’re not that far from the next step in the process.

a coach who starts to build a legacy eventually goes from being an employee to the unwritten boss of his operation. even though Cohen is the Intense Bastard, I think he gets it.

I think the citrus is a lock now if we win out. Bama, Uga, and Auburn in NY 6 bowls. Between us, lsu, and a&m for citrus. Think it will be hard for the citrus to skip over us for a team we blew out.

If we don't go to the citrus, I doubt we end up at the outback. Maybe we end up there because we haven't been, but if that's the logic they use I expect they'd rather put us in the Texas bowl.

Bowl projections have SI and CBS Puttigm is in the Citrus agaisn?t Penn State and Ohio State respectively. Some other no name site has us in the TX bowl against TX. If we go 9-3 hard to see us slipping below Outback.

As much as I hate to admit it, I live in Ft Worth and would love to get back at TX and be there to witness it. I was there in the cold rain when we got clobbered by them. they had that bad ass dope smoker RB that killed us then when we tried to stop that, their QB lit us up.
