Is BYU going to start a True Freshman at QB?
They took the red shirt off late in the game Friday. Makes you think they are planning on playing him. It will be interesting to see how he handles the noise level in Davis Wade.

Why not? I'd do it, and start with a flea flicker.

I hope they got some of that fixed over the last two weeks.

If I am BYU I have a 85% Pass to 15% Run gameplan.

The problem is their line does not look that good and I think our D line would have a field day unless the we get Refs who don't throw flags for holding.

Also their WR's are MUCH worse than ours. Let that sink in.

Who is the quickest kid on the team per Gus. The kid is not Scott westerfield out there burning secondaries people (no offense Scott).

Byu is the slowest team in the history of cfb. If we get beat deep by them we really do suck. That freshman qb is from franklin, tn. Very good arm but a big ole statue in the pocket.

It would be just like us to get bit by a R.A.T. though (Random Asshole Theory). I've seen it happen to us too many times.

I don't think 40k fans with 10k cowbells will be To much to handle.
Our defense now....that DL is going to worry him a little.

One thing is for certain, regardless of who they start, their qb will look like Montana out there and our db/safeties will be out of position for the 4th year in a row.

At the most 22. He graduated high school in 2015. They changed the age to go on a Mission from 19 to 18. I am guessing he went on his mission out of high school at age 18 for 24 months. So he got home he was probably 20 or early 21.
Still old for a Freshman.
