Has anybody entertained the theory that maybe someone other than Freeze used his phone and made the escort call to set up a recruit with some high dollar ass? Maybe a certain coach that's no longer with the team and if exposed would gladly squeal like a stuck pig to the NCAA.
Just a pondering.

You make that call if you are him on a burner phone. He screwed up and called on his state phone and realized what he did and hung up real quick.

I still cannot believe that he personally made a call to an escort for players. I am a Hugh hater just as everyone here, but I cannot see it. It makes zero sense. The man makes $4.7 mil a year, he isnt setting up hookers for players. If they were having a big recruiting weekend someone else would have set that up. Now it could have been paid by him but no way did he make the call to set it up. I think he resigned because now everyone knows he is a giant fraud and was unfaithful to his wife with women all over the country. This is Tiger Woods all over again.

The man who based his self worth on recruiting and the big fish he could real in. As much as his ego was tickled by his sociopathic followers you can bet your ass this narcissistic fool would do anything to keep his ego inflated. I have a harder time believing he was buying out of town strange for himself

Nah - they had to know the whole time. They were forced to make a move when it became public knowledge.

Let's suppose a recruit walks into an apartment with 3 or 4 ladies of the night waiting for him. What are the chances he stopped and asked: "Are y'all hookers? Where do y'all work?"
I'm damn near 100% certain this has been reported to the NCAA. They know about the girls. But they don't know if the girls were just drunk college girls or bought and paid for. It would be next to impossible to track that down without some very hard, credible evidence from someone who was involved in arranging everything.
There was a rumor that a former employee may come forward to explain how this was being set up. There's so much stuff flying right now, it's hard to tell what's legit and what's not. Regardless, I think everyone can use their imagination to surmise what's been going on. I think the university knows what's up, the media knows what's up, and the NCAA knows what's up. That's why you had one of their fan site guys immediately come out and say "the girls weren't for recruits." They felt comfortable knowing and confirming that within a matter of hours of the Freeze news breaking? I don't think so.
The question is "can they prove it?". That seems to always be the question in Oxford. I seriously doubt it ever comes out. You'd have to compel a complicit party to come forward and admit to taking part in a massive felony. If the FBI steps in and offers immunity (real immunity, not the BS country club immunity the NCAA offers), then you may see something. Until then, it's all innuendo and speculation.
