It is possible to go from Ole Miss to productive member of MSU. See Chris Lotterhos.

Little yes because of numbers. WR's- I don't think we need any because Couch and Todd are going to develop and be pretty solid by next year. Plus Heath can help us right away as a freshman.
I suspect Little would go back to Texas if given the chance. I think the most likely Ole Miss player we would get would be DD Bowie.
I'd probably take their kicker too.

Does this interest us at all?
Any kid that went there we don't want to touch with a 50ft pole. I wonder if anyone else will?

Does he even qualify to get in any university? And how did the breaking and entering thing ever end up? Don't think we would want him regardless of how good he might be.

Some of these kids deserve a great role model like Dan Mullen.

Absolutely. I heard a couple weeks ago he went to Mullen to ask about transferring and Mullen told him to relieve himself on a rope.

They'll probably offer him the open position to try and keep Shea from leaving.

Here's the first de-commit. Who's next? Step right up!

Kid from New Hope, Taekion Reed, isn't even worth mentioning. Obviously not on anybody's radar.
I think Greg Little heads back to Texas, and Shea Patterson heads to a big name program.
DD Bowie would be a good get, and I think that's reasonable. All of us felt in his recruitment like he wanted to be in Starkville, but that Ole Miss kept up the pressure to make him stay. He went reluctantly, it seemed.
AJ is a more interesting debate. My personal prediction: both he and we keep a grudge, and he ends up at an SEC west rival. I'll say Auburn.

I have a feeling that Patterson ends up at Auburn or Baylor because of his style of play. AJ may end up just playing pro baseball if he is still in pro baseball.

Feels like a lot of the sentiment around ED is that they wouldn't want AJ on our team.

They get to have another on field coach now. Brother Patterson probably fixing to get a promotion
Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times

They should sue Freeze. He cost them their career by lying to them. If he lied to media members, he lied to the players too. They are the ones who get hit here. Kids got taken advantage of and now they are stuck.
Yep lied to everybody but the NCAA... told the complete truth there**

Metcalf. I would take him.

Any player that comes and gets significant PT is taking it away from a guy who committed to us and has put in work. No thank you. Sometimes you have to look at something that might be good temporarily and say no. Obviously OM did learn that lesson. I think our coaches have.
Death penalty or bust!!!***

I think it's a tough argument to make that a 17/18 year old kid is morally corrupt for choosing Ole Miss over us. For many of these kids, it wasn't their fault. They were lied to and deceived by a horrible Ole Miss coaching staff. Many of those players probably regret their decision.
