You not allowed to get upset about the draft. When younr recruit well, it happens.

Furthermore, for the most part, it evens out across the country.

Any JC player that is good, will likely sign in pro ball.

They've been in college for two years and are ready to go out. Transferring to another school isn't all that appealing.

However, the Trevor Stephan (Arkansas JUCO and 2nd Starter) story is a good one for JUCO kids to consider. He was an 18th round pick last year, pitched 1-year for the Hogs, and now a #4 pick.

This could be good news as far as Mangum is concerned. If they thought they could sign him, he would have gone in the second round.

So far so good in this draft, we have only lost the players we knew we could not keep.

True but Stephan was a unique case of a guy that had only been pitching for 2.5 years and had a ton to gain.

Hopefully, we actually get most of these guys to campus. UNM got every single guy last year to school. They weren't great this year but playing so many freshmen is going to pay off next year and the year after.

I was thinking 100% OF, but was just told that MLB draft tracker has him as the 102nd ranked player as a LHP.
