    MLB.com Top 200 Draft Prospects

#33- Quenton Holmes- MSU signee who is not coming to school.
    #50- Brent Rooker
#102- Jake Mangum down from 77 on the last ranking this year.
#119- Jordan Anderson- MSU signee that I still think we have a decent shot of getting.
#151- Reynoldo Riviera- MSU JUCO signee who I do not think is coming to school.

Top 200 = Approximately top 6 rounds or so.

If we just lost Holmes and Rivera from the class, I'd be good with it.

Jake's a ****ing idiot then. He's an easy out, a pitcher's dream in MLB. No plate discipline whatsoever. Canns should hit and run every time he comes to bat with runners on first or second, because he isn't going to walk. Reminds me of Anchor Man, if you put it on the monitor Burgundy will read it. If you pitch it, Mangum will swing at it.

Getting either Anderson or Rivera would be huge.

You can't live someone's dream, never understood why others criticize ones dreams.

    Damn that is all.

I talked to someone very close to the situation and was told Jake is almost 100% coming back.

That'd be great. If this projection is right though, I'll have to see it

ETA -- I don't know Jake or have any inside info. Just guessing off draft projection

It's just a projection on talent- not that MLB.com thinks they will all go pro. Padgett and Parker Ford have been on this list before coming out of high school for example.

I would be extremely surprised if a team took Mangum within the first 120 picks or so.

Me too. I wonder if his arm is factoring into this projection. I saw him throw 93 earlier this season and that's from left side

I know plumlee won't be a high pick, but I'm all-the-sudden hoping he's back. He can throw low 90s, so I can definetely see him drafted somewhere. Really hope he's back

You would have to believe Mangum is elite defensively to take him that high, IMO, given the concerns over his aggressive approach and lack of power. I don't think anyone is going to project that from him.

Wouldn't that be something if Mangum pitches us to a regional championship? That would be special IMO.

Plumlee has simply been a breath of fresh air lately. I sure hope he comes back. He could be big for us next year.

He has definitely had a lot of great games down the stretch. Hopefully we bring back the entire pitching staff because some of the guys struggling have some talent but just weren't ready to pitch at this level. We have some guys that should be pitching midweek instead of in the clutch of SEC games.

Plumlee will be back. He's a sophomore and isn't draft eligible this year.
