OT: New doctor in the house
My son received his PhD yesterday in commencement at the University of Georgia. He's a 2000 MSU grad (BS & BA), and also holds an MA from Tulane and an MBA from Florida State. Quite proud of a pretty sharp MSU alumnus and big Bulldog fan (and he likes the Seminoles too) .

Congrats, Rocket!
What's his field if you don't mind me asking?

Don't mind at all. He has a Bachelors from MSU in Mathematics and and one in Philosophy, Masters from Tulane in Philosophy, MBA from FSU, and now a PhD from Georgia in Philosophy. He works as a "Senior Scientist" at Georgia Tech ... pays a lot better than philosophy. After he retires and gets the kids through school, he wants to teach college full time (already does that part time).
