Yancy says The NCAA is investigating State
Because Fitzgerald and Thompson wore green jerseys in the $pring Game. Snitch U turned us in again, saying the green jerseys were a sign they were being paid. Fitzgerald is also rumored to be receiving "improper benefits" from the former Falcons cheerleader he dates.
As soon as Yancy updates us- we'll give more info.

The only benefits worth receiving from a Falcons cheerleader are the improper kind.

Yancy doesn't approve of those kind of improper benefits when given by a woman. He says that's just yuck.

sources are saying NCAA investigators were at Spring Game to investigate the Women's Final Four team autograph session & halftime appearance when they just happened to notice the green jerseys. Fitz sat 2nd half as part of our exemplary cooperation.

Maybe that's why we only have 79 on scholarship. 5 over 5
Death penalty or bust!!!***

More like 20 over 5. We are already at about 15 over 3 voluntarily.

What happens IF one of the players mom or dad actually has worked for MSU for years....
NO this is not a new job given to the parent for the student signing to play.
Then that student goes to school for a discounted price.... HOW is that accounted for? just curious....

Student A, B, C sign with a college. The parents of said student A,B,C work for the college (these parents have worked for the college for years, NOT A NEW HIRE). The parents are given Reduced Cost Benefits from the college (1/2 price for any employees child). How is this accounted for in the form of scholarships for the university?

I would guess they would still count towards the 85 and the Athletic Department would get a discount for reduced tuition. Or they would have to forgo the reduced tuition and the AD would have to pay the full cost as part of the scholarship.
Either way, I'm guessing this happens enough to warrant a rule about it.

Are we supposed to be worried or are we still rueing? I can't keep it streight anymore.

New rules state that the parents can't take that job 2 years prior and 2 years after said student enrollment. So your scenario, in which the parents are long time employees, doesn't apply.

I would also suspect that the athletic scholarship amount is decided by the school after the student is officially admitted. The school more than likely applies the reduced cost because a parent is employed, then adds in the athletic scholarship component to round out the cost of tuition, etc.
