OL player died today after a workout. Man people are gonna be talking big time bout workouts especially with the news about Oregon

I remember a few year ago, a USC player nearly died when he was working out without a spotter and dropped a free weight bar on his neck. I don't know, perhaps this is heart related, but regardless workouts are serious business.

This was probably a freak accident. It is extremely sad especially this time of year being that it was probably just a regular workout, nothing crazy. Played with several guys that had to quit because of heart conditions etc. You hate to see something like this happen.
Now the Oregon issue sounds like the strength coach just pushed a little too hard. The body can only take so much and an hour of continuous push ups and up downs may be doable for skill positions/smaller guys but for big guys that is really really tough.
