Better, Same, or Not as Good as UF Win in 2000?
-
I remember my dad throwing me over the fence in that Florida game. I was hanging on to that goal post for dear life. I gotta say that memory has to be a little better. Great win today though.
-
I give today's win just a little edge just based on where the season was headed.
-
Better if we win 6. If we don't, then same (ish) erring on the not as big side. This could be TAMU overrated as usual. This year feels different but it seems they find a way to underwear by the end of every season. We'll see. So, this is awesome but 3rd and 57 still a little better.
ETA: I'm leaving it because it was funny. Blasted autocorrect. It's supposed be underwhelm.

About the same. Didn't Florida still win the SEc that year?
-
Florida was a more dominant win, but today probably means more to the team.

I would compare it to the 2004 Fla win

Difference for me is that the center of today's game involved so many young players.
There are some real things to build on here

I think the difference is that this could help the team turn a corner. In the long run, nothing was going to get better in 2004. We pulled an upset and nothing more.

After beating Fla in '04 we followed up by beating Ky the next weekend.I thought we were on the upswing. We knew we had a good team in 2000.

I think today is Dan's best win.

Not as good because I got to pull down the goal post in 2000.

Besides the '09 Egg this is the first game he has won that I was certain we would lose

Florida win was special. While everyone was storming field, I was getting plugs of turf from field. I brought them home and planted them in my yard. I still have Dudy Nobel turf in my back yard.
This win was greater for the players!

For me, definitely the Florida win. The Florida win ranks in my top 5 of all time due to how terrible we were, not just that season, but the several seasons before too. This one was big, but we've been so good the past 2 years, that I wasn't as desperate as I was then.

I'll go with better because Jackie has won a few big games like that up to that point in his career. This is the highest ranked team that Dan has beaten and I think it gets him over the hump as far as that criticism from our opponents.

You know how important it is to our fans that others can't criticize us. We take whatever our rivals say about us and then use it against ourselves.

Not only did Mississippi State embarrass LSU on this night. Davis Wade Stadium wrecked Tiger Stadium in music choice, atmosphere and, most of all, volume.
When I'm 80 and deaf, it's not going to be all those Springsteen concerts or Queen at Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans on Halloween Night in 1978, it will be this game...............Glen Guilbeau--Sherveport Times
