According to Paul Jones, Landrews didn't Flip
False report fellas.
Landrews says he's still an MSU commit.
Odd situation. We seem to have one every year.

My question is more this. What the hell is he doing on an official visit to Minnesota anyway? Kid came to camp and begged us to offer. Worked his ass off and we did. Now he wants to take trips? Might wanna talk to our staff before he does this.

Most likely a kid that's never been recruited & doesn't understand the process. Curious how the Co-lin coaches didn't advise him properly. We've never had issues there, so this is slightly surprising
-
Me too. It's not like he is talented enough to be a soft commit for us. And that's 100% on the CoLin coaches. Even though that doesn't fit the bash Mullen campaign. It's true
-
He may be a diamond in the rough or needs to be re-rated but per 24/7, he is one of the lowest rated players we have/had committed. Our avg score per commit went up when they took him off the commit list. If he's still a Dawg, hope he becomes a All-American either way.

Our staff might want to talk to the recruits more often...

Question:
Are we the only SEC school that freaks out about guys visiting Minnesota and USM?
Recruiting is a process and just because someone is committed it doesn’t mean that you get to stop recruiting them. But that’s what it seems like our staff wants to do- you commit and then you never get to take another visit again or you get dropped.
It’s ridiculous.

Do you know how often our coaches have talked to him or any other recruit for a fact?

Isn't talented enough? Says who?

Our commits are more committed to our program than our head coach is...

Sad but very true.

Do you?

Uh yeah. That's why I am asking you. You said earlier today that "Knox and Hevesy need to get off their asses and recruit". While I won't ever be the one to defend John I know for a fact that Knox is one of the hardest working recruiters not only on our staff but in the country. Not saying he is a perfect coach by no means. But he works hard at recruiting. Anyone who has dealt with him will tell you so. Our coaches deal with the recruits as much as they can but we also have a recruiting efforts staff named Gibson, Stopcynski, and Austin that are supposed to do the day to day stuff with the recruits. And they were caught off guard by this as well. We actually had
Coaches at the CoLin game Thursday to talk to all our commits. So maybe the kid got some bad advice from somewhere else and it wasn't a breakdown on the coaches behalf. That's all I am saying

Well I'm getting different info..we can both just leave it where it is

Maybe he should work smarter, not harder. Just saying.

Knox recruits where I lived. My experience with him has been different than yours.

Maybe he's never been to Minnesota, so he just wants to take the trip

What coaches were at the game Thursday? I didn't see any there but obviously that doesn't mean they weren't there. I've seen our coaches there before and they usually roam the sidelines.
I've been to 3 Co-Lin games this year and I didn't really notice Landrews in the first two games but I thought he looked good this past Thursday. He was active and he didn't mind hitting.
