Even if it?s cancelled, we should see him at some point this weekend. Good news!

Even if it?s just the bullpen, getting Nate back would be monumental.

I'd prefer to have him in the bullpen

Maybe two short stints per weekend. Pico has shown he can give us a quality start in the third game

Even if he just did two 8th innings per weekend, that's a great contribution

Yesterday would have been a good day to get him back out there

Rpi be damn... I want us to play tomorrow now. Dohm should be given as many innings as he can take on before the ncaa tourney. He is a legit difference maker

Our goal should be Pico continuing to develop and extending his pitch count. And Dohm able to give us a little help out of the pen. Keep the number of games to a minimum. That means stay out of regional losers bracket (you play fewer games in the winners bracket). Our pen is good if we don’t have to go deep.

This is great. I hope he's healthy. He could make a big difference in post season.

At this point I don't think we will trot him out there twice a weekend

The plan was always Tuesday. He wasn't on the travel roster.

I can imagine the meltdown if we put a recovering pitcher into a high leverage situation on the road against Arkansas if Dohm didn't have it.

    We need a closer. . . . .He's tough the first time thru a lineup. . . . . .

If Dohm pitches tomorrow, he should easily be able to come back and start game 1 Thursday against Missouri and give us 8 innings **

The ideal scenario would be for him to pitch well tomorrow, then start a game in Hoover and pitch well, and then maybe pitch the first game of the regional we host against the 4, to save Stephen and Cijntje for games 2 and 3.

Yep. Stephen and Loo can go 6-7 as is. Pico has taken over the third starter. By the time the regionals start he should be able to give us 6...maybe 7 if he is efficient.

Then we have Hardin and Davis at closer. They can give us 1-2 innings. Auger has become the relief ace. Schuelke can eat an inning here and there and is strong against RH hitters.

We'll see tomorrow what Dohm has. I'd like to get Siary and Black back on track too.

Nolan Stevens can be our mop up guy in a blowout situation.
