Bradley Loftin question?
Any news whatsoever? Is he even dressing out?

He must pay Steve for PR because he mentions him just about every week on Bounds show. Steve talks about him like he’s a stud and maybe he could be but he hasn’t contributed anything in 2 years now

I would be very surprised if he pitches any more this year.

Supposed to be cleared this summer I heard
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

If he does get cleared I'm sure he'll go somewhere probably the Cape and we'll see what he does.

The issues really holding him back. He's only thrown 32 collegiate innings.
Also has the same amount of SWAC innings as SEC innings. Experience-Wise he will be like a Freshman next year.
Seems being a closer or setup man would be the best role. That way, big contribution, but fewer innings for work load

Perhaps. If he goes to a good summer league like the Cape he can gain experience there in a relatively low stress environment. We have seen some guys make a big jump their junior year but we'll see. With guys like Stratton and Dakota Hudson you could kind of see it coming.

Main thing is he has to get healthy
Also think about he will be 21 next year. 21 year olds are more prepared for shit than 18/19 year olds. He will in no way be like a Freshman next year

This is true. If he is I'm sure he will compete for a rotation spot.

Hudson and Houston were big, strong, healthy kids. It was always a question of when.
Holcombe is more like Hudson than Loftin. With Holcombe, he was given 98% by mother-nature, just needs 2% more on mechanics and muscle memory. I can't recall the last Loftin.
If Loftin came back in 2025 as the 2013 Girodo, I'll take it.

Nah, Holcombe is 100% mental and it was that way in Juco too. He's more Cerantola than Hudson. He'll likely get drafted and be gone after this year. Loftin was part mental his first year and he just worked too fast and lost focus too easy. His stuff was never a question until he had arm issues. Hopefully he's back and ready to go next season. Let's all be honest, every damn pitcher basically lost a year playing for an idiot pitching coach.

Dude was supposedly injured last year and now not going to pitch this year. At this point I don't see how anyone can count on him for next season which would be his last before he is draft eligible again. These days it seems you need to sign twice as many pitchers as you need because of the frequency of injuries.
