I like chance. He has good pop for a little guy, and that's something we need. I don't think he's a better hitter than the 4 I listed, but he's 5th - put him 5th.

Will Powell start at catcher against bama or was Long getting a mid-week rest?

Powell usually catches midweek and on Saturday
Walk like the King or walk like you don't care who the King is

My issue is we eat our own. No one shits on our players, program, university and town like our fans. I know you guys will respond, "every fan base does it." I don't know if that's true, as I don't read other school's boards, but as I get a ton of OM fansites in my facebook feed (i have no idea why as I report them all for "hate speech") and they are usually filled with positive comments. If a player transfers from OM, the comments are much more, "thank you for your service and good luck," on our fansites, it's much more, "he sucks," "better off without him," "he's a cancer," etc.
No matter what you think, players and their friends and family read all this stuff and many are prima donnas, I just wish we had a more positive outlook. It seems OM is light years ahead of us in using the media and crafting their narrative.
I do believe OM fans masquerade as MSU fans to make us look bad on the internet.

I wonder if Lemonis gave Long the night off to try to avoid a brawl with Ole Miss? That bat flip caused their fans to completely melt down worse than I have ever seen.

I guarantee you that Quinshon Judkins disagrees with you about Ole Miss fans.
