So, most likely we face lsu in SECT
With one team playing to get in the NIT, and one team playing to stay out of the NIT. Maybe we can pull it off

We are 30 points better than them on a neutral floor. However, I am afraid this will be like the 2012 SECT where we only needed to beat a UGA team we were MUCH better than(we had lost to them earlier in the year only because Hood or Mountie sat out) and we lost by 10 and were never in the game.

What a choke job down the stretch by the men (and women). Being a State fan is a tough gig, man.
Tolu needs to play like an AA, instead of getting bullied down low. If he played with the heart of Matthews, he'd score 40 a game. Those sissy lay ups....dunk it you tall bastard!
I don't know if our depth caught up to us, or what, but we haven't defended at all lately like we did early and mid season. Disappointing. We may limp into the dance, and play a freaking play in game. Yippee. What a disappointment.

Our biggest problem is, other than Hubbard, we are a poor shooting team. That's the object of the game after all, putting the ball in the basket.

That's why when we stopped playing good defense, we started piling up losses. We aren't outscoring anybody

We been scoring plenty but not defending worth a crap. we scored 89 yesterday and lost.
Davis has really come on as of late.

That's the frustrating part. We are basically the same team we were last year PLUS Hubbard and Murphy and we are no better. But the difference is we don't make halfcourt stops anywhere at the rate we did last year. I know Hubbard is a liability on defense but beyond that we still have a bunch of guys that are supposed to be solid defensive guys but we aren't holding teams down anything like we did last year. Other than the LSU road game we haven't held anyone down recently.

Was I distracted for 5 minutes and missed this at the game yesterday or did Tolu not participate in the senior day ceremony.
Also is Murphy in the dog house again.
Never left the bench.

Tolu did not participate in Senior Day. I would imagine that means he will transfer. Murphy played two defensive possessions. On those two, he did not block out on the first one and let his man go right by him on the second.

Does he have another year? I know he participated last year, so maybe he just didn't do it again

You could be right. I did not remember him participating last year and I do not even attempt to keep up with eligibility til all the COVID years are exhausted.

Tolu participated in Senior Day last year because he wasn't sure he was coming back. He's out of eligibility.
