They were the only team willing to hire him after Texas fired him for beating his wife...so doubt he goes anywhere.

That's not good then bc he's a top 5 coach

GT just beat Duke. Loss not looking as bad.

And the NW beating Purdue. Week not so bad

The were 12-23 from three.
Not sustainable.
No doubt he's a good coach though. Strangler of women. But a good coach.

And you're right on Beard. He can flat out evaluate and coach. That PG from St Peters is a player.

Memphis is not a good basketball team. Just a good basketball name.

Will OM play "Stranglehold" by Ted as his walk on music?** Our band should perhaps when they visit the Hump.

Better get used to it. It is going to get more and more prevalent with free agency cough cough portal.

Ole Miss was predicted to be decent. I think they were picked 8th in the SEC and State picked 7th. We will probably split with them. It might play out similar to the 2019 season where we both make tournament

I said Beard would be a problem months ago when they hired him and some on here didn't agree. He wins everywhere he goes... he and Jans are similar but his offense is a little bit ahead of Jans

So? Its not like we can do anything about it since we don't control who they hire as coaches. In my view OM will be a problem in most sports in an NIL world because nobody likes buying players to play for them more than OM folks.

I shouldn't be laughing at this but you made me do it.

I don't know but that would be a heck of an entrance to Davis Wade. "Here I come again now, baby, like a dog in heat."

It wasn't during the team entrance but I'm pretty sure it was on the pre-game playlist during the USM game.

Agree. Other than beating Missouri away and Michigan and Arkansas on a neutral court Memphis hasnt done anything.
