If this is true and this is what happens, why care about the sport?

Imagine State going undefeated on the back of Dak in 2014 and then losing him to injury before the playoff and getting left out as a result. We would all justifiably be LIVID. Because it is insane. It is about what the team has done on the field, not about what some people decide the team is probably now capable of with some injuries.

If Bama were to be selected and then the next day Milroe breaks his leg in the kitchen, should we go back and take them out and put UGA in?

Of course we would be livid, as FSU should be.

Regardless of what the networks wanted, I'm glad they put the better team in. Bama might win it all. FSU had no shot at winning it all.
