Louisville will be the State champs of all classifications if they continue the thumping they're putting on Columbia. They beat the 5a champs, West Point. If Starkville and Noxubee win their games tonight they will own wins over 3 state championship teams.

Last time I went there several years ago on a brutally cold night, I was pulled out of line by their rental security and almost strip searched, as he was sure I had a cowbell (and I also have a degree from there out of necessity later in my career***, MSU out of love of course!). I have no desire to go back unless we start a winning streak under Lebby! Hail State!

MHSAA is a $ hungrey joke with the move to 7 divisions. Some smaller schools only need one division win to make the playoffs and the 1st round games are often a slaughter when FB teams in the NE go south to play. Has happened often to my former HS.
