It was a bunt play luke was crashing it was Larry's cover.

To me it looked like Larry was looking at the runner to try to attempt a throw at 3b. I think he took his eye off if it.

I thought I remember that Jay said whoever was covering the base should've caught it and i assume it was Hancock/ But neverless it went downhill from there.

It was a bunt to move runners over to 2nd and 3rd
Bunt was just to the glove side of pitcher - fielded cleanly by pitcher

On that bunt, 3B stays home, pitcher covers 3b side, 1b crashes

All that worked - Larry was late to the bag and the throw was above his hands -more at the bill of his cap - it was a reactionary attempt to catch

Should?ve caught it but pitcher being so close should?ve gone underhanded

Jay was fantastic to listen to. I had my 2 year old with me, and we left at the top of the 8th. When I cranked my truck to head home, it was the beginning of the 9th. He was done with it, man. You can tell he thinks Foxhall is an idiot.
