Will there be College football in the fall or even the spring?

Too early to know. I feel like we try to jump the gun on this every day, but the same answer persists

Phase three they will allow fans in totally. I anticipate that will be by August.

Just an idea, but could programs only sell tickets to 50% capacity (or 30% or whatever) to allow for social distancing within the stadium? Ticket offices can block out the seat numbers that would make people sit beside each other. Just wondering if there's a middle ground between "fans" and "no fans".
I think ticket sells will be down dramatically anyway, but is there a way to manage the seating to create social distancing that prevents "no fans"? Seems feasible if full crowds are out of the question.

I think they could. But when football season comes around I don't think they'll have to.

Worst case scenario is we play nothing but conference games and you attend at your own risk. But I don't think it will come to that. Everything will be back to normal by August 1.
And b/c of the quarantine this could turn out to be one of the most interesting college football years ever.

Using this ticket means enter stadium at own risk. NCAA and/or MSU are not responsible for any liabilities.... that should do it.

Six feet between fans would be like 15%.

If the season gets canceled or games with no fans..... schools need to start retro fitting bleachers in loge type seating or club level type suites anyway.
Attendance is only going to go down with TV and ridiculous tickets, parking and concession prices.

Looks like a pretty good phase approach laid out today that is data based for each gate into the next phase of reopen. Data driven and very logical based on how the virus is doing. Talk about things will not be the same again. This model will be used again on future breakouts. Watch and see.

Student athletes and such.

I just wonder what the players think about this....I remember when Magic Johnson tested positive for HIV...other players refused to play with him on the court....this time, all of the NBA players who tested positive with the Wuhan virus showed no symptoms..
Has anyone heard from a player what their thoughts are about playing and practicing....
