    Monroe county just hired a new "recruit industry" guy. Forget his exact title. This may fit in with that to try to use the waterway to help bring in more industry. Don't know which way it goes from there as far as your hunting land but a county supervisor I would guess should be able to give you some info.

    same with Natchez. It's the "safe zone" on the MS when a hurricane comes in. they tell the barges to go north and don't stop until you get to Natchez. That should be a huge selling point. An LNG refinery and port could be huge there.

    I agree with this too. Some of the problem I have been told is that Natchez is not industry friendly. This comes from people who live in the area. Promote Pilgrimage, which I enjoy and think is great, but industry could flourish too.

    old money doesn't want new money coming in. it's slowly killing a once great town.
