You're missing it. It's not trying to run past him or into a tag. He was 40 feet away from the 3rd baseman. He has to close the distance some and make the 3rd baseman tag him while having to pursue him or if 3rd baseman does what he should and fire straight to 2nd to get 2 he is already moving to 3rd and will be by the 3rd baseman before 2nd baseman can fire the ball that way. Bc he froze and didn't close any distance he put himself in no mans land standing in his own pile of shit. The 2nd baseman made an aware play and took the dead duck instead of to 1st. It's a baserunning mistake.

I'm here. Colby has to shut the door. Just like Barlow has to locate fastballs left on left. That said I was encouraged somewhat by the change the couple of times he threw it and I agree with a post from above in a mo th he may have a true 2nd pitch. Still need guys to sack up down there and get their shit together.

Bullpen was able to get it done but that was more luck than stepping up... Barlow HAS to get better at locating, we simply have to have a lefty with his stuff. White will be good, he's come a long way in location and in a 2nd pitch. Couple more weekends and I think we'll see him as better than Leibelt
Plum did a great job today, the ump situation was not easy and he managed better than the very talented UGA pitchers

According to Jay Powell, they were very good today. On radio, he raved about the starter and Wilcox. Best pitchers of the week, according to JP

Our bullpen is just not a lockdown group. They will get outs but also hits and runs.
