We have no true difference makers that we can rely on every game to take charge. Everyone is a glorified role player, some obviously better than others.

For the 14th time this season, and it'll be 100 more before it's over, Ado is not a scorer. He's not expected to score. He's a defensive specialist that is long and can run the floor. If he takes zero shots, has zero points, and has zero turnovers, he did his job on offense.

I tried to tell y'all to cool the jets and just wait and see about basketball. That still applies by the way. One loss, or one win, doesn't mean much by itself.

After Nick got the ball fed back to him several times on layups, I thought about it and it could be that his ankle kept him from dunking the ball instead trying a layup like a girl. (well not our girls, but some)

I don't think I would use a preseason ranking as a crutch at MSU for any sport except for maybe Women's bball

This is true, but I think we're going to find a consistent low block scoring threat somewhere on the roster for this team to reach its potential. If not Ado, maybe that's Perry with some more experience.

6 or 8 points off the bench was pretty dismal.

ran out of gas my ass. W made up a 18 points. Their guy jacks a three and we miss a wide ass open three. running out of gas --bullshit. The fact The Refs let 0 just run over everybody didn't help. The fouled Q-Peters and Nick when they would drive. It is one game--get a grip. This team is a good one--Damn we have shitty fans.

It's not a preseason ranking. That was #18. We've moved up 3 spots since the season has been underway for two weeks.

I like Weatherspoon. He does not take over games though. He is not someone other teams have to fully game plan against.
I am sorry you have a man crush on Fitz and have to bring him up even when we aren?t taking about him. Must be tough.

no need to be sorry-I think Nick has been a warrior and has been one of the best QBs in MSU history. Sorry for you being a continuing basher of a Young Man that has played his ass off and been one of the best QBs in the SEC. But , I think with BB you will continue with your student athlete negativity. Being a Dick must be a point of honor for you.

Whatever you say man. You are overly emotional about it to bring it up out of nowhere. He deserves criticism on his QB play as a 5th year senior but I understand he has been trying hard. I?ll leave it at that considering this is a basketball thread.
I actually like all of our basketball players. I just think we do not have a go to guy and it is a problem. If you would like to actually discuss that point then I would be happy to hear your side.

Nick needed to pass both of those times, we had players open for a layups. Might have cost us the game.

how many games does Q have to win with a last second shot, before He is our go to guy? I think Nick and Peters would be Ok with last shot. i had no problem with Holman taking the 3 at the end-his play kept us in the game.

That?s kind of my point. You mentioned 4 different guys. Q has been awesome on some last shots in his career. My question is more who?s going to be able to fill it up on a game by game basis. My concern at the moment is none of these guys are a big enough threat from 3 to be that.

Would you think someone who shot .440% from the 3 might be a big enough threat?
