Why didn't we offer Dean's brother a walk-on spot?
Would we have gotten him if we did?

What? Maybe he just grew up an OM fan, but he isn't good enough for a D1 scholarship. If they really wanted N Dean, they would have put his brother in scholarship.

He was already in school at OM.

Woah woah woah. You're teetering on the same playing field as 7's comments about Auburn in the KB thread by saying that.
I'm in no way defending 7's comments by the way.

Dean is a really good HS LB, but his upside is limited compared to others. Some SEC assistants like Hall better due to growth potential. Dean not going to be much bigger. Dean not super fast either but above average instincts get him to ball quickly !

Nakobe Dean is a consensus 5* recruit. 247 has him as the #1 overall ILB recruit in the country, and the #15 player, regardless of position, nationally. Limited upside? You're getting some bad info.
And no, we don't have a shot.

I bet you Pickering has a better college career and makes a bigger impact than ND does wherever he ends up
That’s not a knock at all on ND he may very well be All SEC before he is done
But Pickering Is going to be special.

I don't disagree on Pickering. He is underrated, and personally, I believe DL prospects are more valuable than LB prospects. I'm concerned that we're going to lose Pickering.

Don't worry Bubb, he's coming home!
