2nd confirmed case.... Just a matter of time until it’s rampant. Sucks because I’m much more a meat hunter than a horns hunter

Me, too. Couldn't care less about antlers. I want something I can dip in buttermilk and seasoned flour, deep fry, and put on a plate besides mashed potatoes and purple hull peas.

I have killed more than my share of deer in my life, with some being very nice trophies, but I am basically a meat hunter. One can boil and boil the horns and they never get tender. After my first wife cut the horns off of 4 class 150 and better mounts 18 years ago during a nasty divorce, my horn hunting days were over. (I hope she rots in hell)

However, it is really puzzling how the 2nd case of CWD is found in MS so far apart. After reading the following article, I just don’t see it happening without the transporting of deer for breeding purpose. So strange.

I think you nailed at the end. I wish sportsmen would go back to being sportsmen. Just like that thread where the 3 ms guys got busted for 12 limits of redfish for 4 people. Gotta respect nature first and foremost
