I have posted in the past about match up passing as some fellow elitedoggers know. I have stated that when receivers are solely counting steps and running geometry, they and their coaches are scrubs. That is simply high school JV stuff. This information, in link, can give fellow elitedoggers another vision. Understanding the video concept can level the playing filed between a 30 year coach without this knowledge and a 5 year coach with it.
I hope that our new coaching staff understands that receivers rarely find space or open grass, that is the exception to the rule. Simply teach the needed techniques to function in tight quarters like high school and college championship offenses do.
