    Georgia Tech game tonight

    Someone help me understand the 8.5 point spread. GT is 2-2 with a beat down by Cincinnati, and a close loss to UMass Lowell (who lost to AZ St). They have a close win over a bad Howard team, and the only convincing win they have is over an 0-6 Georgia Southern team who is absolutely dreadful. That was "only" a 22 point win too. Everything indicates this should be an easy win, but ESPN gives them a near 40% chance to beat us and the spread is so low. I understand it's a road game, but dang! It's making me nervous. It's one of those too obvious plays.

    If I had a guess, they are probably getting points solely based off their coach’s name. Which is ridiculous. But the same thing happened early on with Penny at Memphis
