I feel confident that he will get a good one regardless. Getting Arnold from OU would be a dream scenario.

Probably Gabriel. He's got one more year and knows the system.

I expect Gabriel over Arnold.... Arnold is going to be the starter at Oklahoma next year.

Arnold's dad has already said that his son will be staying at OU.
Another article says that Gabriel is likely to us.

It's 90% or more Gabriel. What we're about to see with the portal is going to be big time.

Gabriel is a top 10 qb. That would be massive.

    Landing Gabriel would be tremendous.

We could spend 3-4 million in the portal if we had to. Maybe 5. But if we could get Gabriel at a discount t that'd be tremendous.

As long as he brings in one of these OU QBs we're golden. Need a stable 7-5 type year with good offensive production, we can build on that and sell other Portal names on Lebby. Need a good year 1 though

I don't think putting the expectation of a 7-5 season on Lebby is fair, considering all the key pieces we are losing to graduation, not even counting the portal.

    Schedule next year is tough.

Obviously a good QB will really help the transition, but our OL and DL/LB need to be completely rebuilt. That is expensive in the portal. Also, we can't just abandon HS recruiting NIL.

If Dillon Gabriel transfers to us for 2024 (which I doubt), 7-5 would be a disappointment.
