Are Brock and Barbay still coaching

If so, ima slow the optimism. Im concerned with how bad the defense will be without CZA, not that it could get worse. And it's not like we are getting a new play caller.

CZA impacted the calls more than you know. Interested to see what they can do, at least in the context of what can be done in a week.

I expect continued incompetence on both sides of the ball.

Hopefully our players have a bit more say in what plays we run.

No, but I’d be willing to bet that Will Rogers could out-coordinate Barbay.

He could possibly option in or out of something. As opposed to run right, Run left, Throw it into the ground right, Throw it into the ground left.

Truthfully, for an offense transitioning in year 1, it didn't look horrible when will and woody were healthy other than lsu and Will's three picks vs Bama. Sela, Arizona, usce, Bama to a degree, and WMU we're all acceptable for a first year transition.

It's going to look better because will and woody are playing. That and I expect us to play with purpose for the first time in two months.

I played football for a POS HC & DC and it never slowed us down from playing with a purpose.
