Basketball note
Practice started today and I?m excited about it. It should be an interesting year.

Jans may be the only head coach on campus that can come up with a good gameplan and implement it.
Basketball is going to be fun to watch. A well-coached team.

We have the best block player in the league returning. Need to add a shooter and shoot the ball better. Team played really good D last season. Lots to be excited about

Both the Men's and Women's teams look good. Jans brought in Hubbard, Taylor, Myers and Fort who can all shoot the ball, plus some good depth to go along with our returners and it showed in our overseas trip. Purcell brought in the #3 transfer portal class in the nation and a top 25 high school class. Both programs went to the dance last season and I expect the same this year with deeper runs.

We added a shooter, Andrew Taylor.

We hit homeruns with both of our basketball coaches.

I see we are opening with Arizona State in Chicago. It?s nice to see more P6 teams on the schedule to help the NET

I tossed my maroon glasses. Now it's a wait and see what we have when the actual season starts for every sport.

Purcell?s portal haul is fabulous. Second only to LSU.

Purcell is definitely the best recruiter on campus. He has a special gift, I like both of our basketball coaches

Same here. I hope these 2 coaches turn out as good as everyone thinks they will/are.

I think so both proved themselves last year. Now let's see if they can take the next step - handle expectations
