Barbay better be holding a couple aces up his sleeve or that wool is gonna fade fast. I want to give Barbay a chance, but if we come out with the offense we had against Arizona, I'm done.

Now with that said, I think we are saving some stuff for LSU, but we'll see come Saturday.

I don?t think he was saving anything. I think an opponent can watch his film and figure everything out. State and Arizona were talent matched in a lot of positions. This Saturday there will be a disparity in talent and he is going to have to draw up plays in the dirt and run them fast. We will see if he draws them in hard dirt or soft sand.

I think Barbay knows football is about match-ups. The first two weeks out best match-up was our run game vs their front 7. This week, I think the best match-up will be vs their defensive backfield that is struggling by DB U standards.

Yeah. I'd like to think otherwise but probably not going to go well for us. But we all will ride the hope wave right up until it goes south on us.

I prefer a 65/35 run/pass offense. Hopefully, we can get to that in our strategy. My expectation is a 7-5 season with an outside chance at 8-4. I think it's doable. Not sure why so many fans want Barbay gone this fast. Let the season play out and see where we are after Thanksgiving.

I don’t know if some of you forgot or what but LSU got the shit kicked out of them just 2 weeks ago. The idea that they are going to come in here and murder us is pretty laughable, even for this board. It will be an extremely close game, and not because State is some amazing team. LSU isn’t that good. They were not that good last year either. They have quite possibly the most overrated coach in college football.

We got 5 turnovers and beat Arizona in OT. Arizona QB is not as good as Daniels, (maybe same), and Daniels has way more talent to dish the ball to. If we play like we played this past Saturday, it won't be close. I'm hoping we play much better. We have the experience.

I honestly do not know how good we or LSU are. I do think Florida State is elite this year, possibly national title good, and we do not have FSU talent, so I am not taking too much away from LSU losing to them.

We can win the game. But it will require a great performance by us.

If we play a B game we won’t win but it will still be close. The spread is between 7-1/2 and 9-1/2. This isn’t going to be some overmatched MSU team. Mississippi State is not the only team playing in this game that has shown major flaws this year. Our fans just largely choose to ignore everyone else’s flaws.

I've noticed several LSU podcasts are complaining about their secondary and how it's not up to the historical standard for LSU. A couple of the podcasts are even worried about our run game.
