Wes Shivers
Jackson Jambalaya has some fresh video of him getting laid out by a fat dude on Flag Island this weekend. At least it wasn?t Dulymus swinging a helmet this time.

That guy has to be mid-40's by now

He deserved it. Pushed a girl down. Fat dude came out of no where and laid him out.

I learned as a teen to never fight drunk, it's served me well for over 30 years. Folks are posting that was the second time Wes got knocked out that day. I think he was a decent UFC/MMA fighter in the early 2000s.

And he is or was in law enforcement

Ranking County Deputy, if the folks on JJ are correct. I imagine he'll be looking for a new job soon, the Rankin Sherrif is in deep kimchi.

The sherriff won’t go anywhere. He pulls down about a buck fifty a year and is running unopposed.

I'm not meaning willingly, the State and the Fed are investigating his department and I'd bet he pulls down a lot more than $150/year.

As well as facing a $400 million lawsuit. The deputies involved are getting off light imo based on what went down.

are all 6 pleading guilty? what type sentencing is expected?

His brother Vic also played at State and he's a nice guy. Vic's son (Cade) is committed to play football at Miss. Gulf Coast I believe. He's a great kid.

It varies. Most recommendations are 15 years w/ up to 10 years suspended. Keep in mind they pleaded guilty to state charges. Feds are apparently looking into this as well so more charges may be on the way.

I don't see them getting off that light.

They plead guilty to federal charges. Lynn Fitch tacked on state charges. They face decades in prison and hundreds of thousands in fines. Not to mention the millions they will be responsible for in civil charges. Their families will hurt for generations. Dumb actions by a bunch of rednecks cops and the sherriff tried to play stupid and ignorant. He knew the history of Dedmon.

I hope they don't. That's just recommendations. The judge could go a different route and impose harsher sentences. Hopefully the Feds will bury them.

That whole dept needs to go, amazing some of the stuff that has happened that has not been released yet. If they investigate the entire dept it won’t be just those 5-6 that get outed I promise you.

I wrote in my name on the ballot for Sheriff, but guess I didn’t get enough other votes. Haha. True story though
