    LSU loses 12-4 to Iowa

    I wonder if Johnson is on the hot seat****

    They were awful last year too....

    LSU couldn?t score on the starter from IOWA- 102mph with 90+ hammer - he walked 8 but got out of his jams with 6K in 3.1; middle reliever shoved for Iowa

    LSU pitching wasn?t the problem 12K to 1BB - it did get touched for 16 hits though but with this solo cup sized strike zone that?s going to happen

    But the hits would bother me more than walks. I feel like walks can be fixed over time where hits may show you lack of talent.

    The smaller strike zone just means you either have to increase velo or movement or both over the zone

    Hitters are better in todays game
