07 was worse than that; we averaged about 7 a game non offensive TDs. We've had several non O pts this year and several TDs setup by TOs so this years is a little worse than just by the numbers too. Take away how many the O has given away on pick 6s and it looks worse.
I thought of that - because I remember it seeming that way. The defense scored 4 TDS - only 2 against an SEC opponent. Special Teams only had 1 TD - against USCe. Removing those only drops the average to 16.9.

When comparing current teams to past teams, it would be interesting to give the mean sec scoring that year. Without looking at any stats from the mid-2000s, I'd guess scoring is up maybe considerably the last few years.
