OT: 2020 Automobiles
I am looking at purchasing a new truck for the first time in a while and have been noticing that there are not many 2020's (cars on trucks) on lots. It seems like the last 10 years or so, the new model year was starting to hit lots as early as June or July of the previous year for some models and pretty much all new year models were available by August. Is there some new regulation driving this, ebb and flow in the car industry, or I'm just old and out of touch?

Tacomas are nice little trucks but won't do some of the things I ask a truck to do.

Tundra is the best 1/2 ton truck, built to 3/4 ton specs. Poor gas mileage, but you ain't buying a Prius. You can raise a family in the back seat and will run trouble-free forever, but it will not have the fancy electronics that only girls want anyway.
