Best advent calendar ever, Year 2

Last year my wife set up an advent calendar for me composed of 24 mini stockings strung up over our fire place. Inside of each was either a tiny bottle of whisky or a sample of fancy loose leaf tea (yeah, I'm a tea dork). This year she did it again.

She said that the tea's all still in transit, so right now it's just whisky. I'm guessing she'll rearrange it once the tea arrives, but for now, look's like I'm in store for the 12 Days of Booze.

    Day 1:

Damn, woman! Talk about coming strong out of the gate. I better not like this too much -- the full size is around $80 a bottle.

    Season's greetings, fellas.

    Days 2, 3, and 4:

Of these three, I've only had Larceny, which is a great wheated bourbon. Cooper's Craft is a new Brown-Forman bourbon. It's a blend of 4-to-6-year-old bourbon that's undergone a bastardized Lincoln County Process -- after it's aged, it's put through a filter of beech and birch charcoal. And Slow & Low's thing is basically a pre-mixed old fashioned. Usually that kind of thing isn't my bag, but I've heard positive things.
