OM White Helmet (redo)

I'm impressed they even considered a white lid, but not impressed with the outcome at all. They could've really made a statement with these by incorporating some navy. When your colors are red/white(gray)/navy, you could have the sharpest uni's in the country with all different variations & combos. By request, I did some concepts for them a few years ago. Here's an updated version of one of my white helmets I pulled out of the dusty archives:

I am with you. I like to think I have an aesthetic eye and they botched the unis not incorporating the blue.
I thought it would have looked better if they would have used the navy as a ?shadow? or half of the stripes that were on the pants and top and I agree with those helmets.

So should we join forces and start a design company? I just need to brush up my photoshop skills.

"white LID" or "white HOOD"? Why not also add a white tip shark fin atop it and all kinds of possibilities come to mind.

haha.... Bears have been so happy with their shiny new lid, I wanted to knock the wind out of their sails by letting 'em know they blew it. They will look like the Ole Miss Cornhuskers. Tmrw, I'll look for my MSU diagonal logo i did.

Got to admit, it looks really good. I've always liked their navy blue/gray colors together. Just a matter of taste I suppose. They should ditch the red though, and it seems to be the color they've emphasized the past few years.

I'm OK with white helmets, but it needs a maroon stripe of some sort on it like ChillBilly's Ole Miss concept. Solid white doesn't look good.

I'm not a fan of solid color uniforms though, be they maroon or white. I suppose solid white's OK for road games since it's traditional, but solid maroon -- never. If nothing else, they're hard to see on the field.

Chilly - i'd love to see a new version of the 2009/10 Adidas uniform (logo in the center that was smaller). I like that better b/c the numbers were so much larger - looked like a classic uniform. The problem with that entire uniform was the stupid stripe down the pants. I actually liked the maroon/white "piping" on the jersey.

Thanks much. Always enjoy your work! Nike may own the design of the Kang era interlocking MSU, but they don't own every possible design of these three letters of the alphabet!! Chillbilly Rock, please give us something that can be done and powers to be at MSU, USE IT from time to time. We've used every other design in the world the last few years, how about some heritage? Hail State and Hail MSU!!!!

Also notes the uni's announced during "Shark Week" on TV. Don't forget they are the land sharks and use a taunting gesture that should draw a 15 yd penalty.

I think Shark Week is actually two weeks this year. That must be in honor of Ole Miss ....
