One thing I noticed is with Marcus Murphy having the same number as Fitz, it pretty much guarantees he will stay on the defensive side unless they want to do a jersey change. Nice to see Guidry with the #1, hopefully he plays like a #1 receiver.

I like how in recent years we've started breaking down positions between S/CB and DT/DE instead of just DB and DL.

Well now we know why Guidry's back. He refused to do so until he was awarded # 1.

Coaching Staff info is complete now too - http://hailstate.com/coaches.aspx?path=football

    12 on field, 19 off-field, 5 S&C

That's 5 more off-field positions 4 additional S&C than we had listed under Mullen in 2017. 8 more off-field than Mullen had in 2016.
Sounds like JoMo and Cohen opened the check book.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Slight hijack but are we sure Austin Williams is going to play in the slot? I love the concept of having a big body there, but the position is awfully crowded with upperclassmen while we're somewhat thin on the outside in terms of talent and potential.

I'm sure other schools have similar or more staff, but 7 people doing nothing but football recruiting shows how the game has changed across the league.

Webb will hurt the most in special teams. Was told that the old staff thought he could play and contribute on special teams as a frosh
CJM possible would have seen that different but Webb is a better version of Holloway with much more upside
