    Weekend Cooking & Drinking Thread: Super Regional Edition

    After thursday night last week I didn't think we'd be watching a super this weekend. I know I'm grilling saturday but that's all I got thus far. LETS GO #Omaha

    I had saut?ed shrimp and almond green beans at Chimney?s in GPT and was exhausted from fishing until 1am last night. I had no plans of drinking but this game made me hit the Two Hearted. Now I?m so jacked I can?t go to sleep! Hail Mac!

    Working today but on the bright side the ribeye roll had a 10 ouncer on the end after cutting a bunch of 16oz so that looked like lunch

    Got invited last minute on a free charter out of Orange Beach this morning so I drove over. Lots of beer were drank. Lots of fish were caught. Lost what would have probably been the biggest shark I have caught and I’ve caugh some decent ones. Gonna fry up some snapper tomorrow after church. Kept the throat out of a couple. If you haven’t had snapper throat you are missing out.

    My breaded cutlet. Equal parts flour, dry parm, and bread crumbs plus s&p & Italian herbs

    Final shot. Paired my chicken parm (with homemade gravy of course) with angel hair. All toppe with fresh grated piave vecchio. Caesar salad and an Italian red. Candoni Merlot made with organic grapes. Beat the dores

    Caught some trout, hit the beach and then cooked some trout over angel hair pasta with a “Cajun” cream sauce. Margaritas and a variety of beers today. I forgot a pic of the final food, but it was great.

    In honor of Tony Bourdain, I made Portuguese kale soup ("caldo verde") for dinner tonight. Had it with some crusty sourdough. Was very good. Easily one of my favorite go-to recipes.

    Couple pics from yesterday. The first one was breakfast. The second was the only one I got of fish very early in the day
    ETA - I will probably be making another snapper trip next weekend if weather permits. I have football camps all week, but next week I’m going to do several inshore trips, so I’ll give some updates when I go.
