    Brent Rooker with a tour of the South

    He's with Chattanooga and will be in Biloxi at the end of June, but won't get to Jackson (Pearl) until August.

    He hit a grand slam tonight for a walk off win.

    Anyone think he'll be in AAA by the time June rolls around?

    Entering the game, he was .223/.267/.313 with 5% bb rate and 30% k rate. I guess it's possible, but unlikely

    It is very surprising to me that he hasn't done as well as Renfroe did in the minors. I thought with his swing would lead to less improvement in the minors. Renfroe had to change several things with his swing to get where he is now. Rooker also had a good eye for the strike zone. That K rate is odd with how he hit his last year.

    He started off real slow but has been better lately.

    Him not getting the Golden Spike Award still pisses me off. Triple Crown in the SEC? Not done since Palmeiro ? gimme a break.

    Thanks for the Rooker update. I want to continue to check on him from time to time.

    Yes, Chatt plays at Biloxi May 17-21. The games in June are Biloxi at Chatt.
