Had some time on my hands today, so I thought I'd check in and see how the diamond dawgs are doing in the pros:

MLB
Mitch Moreland, Red Sox - .347 avg, 5 HR, 17 RBI
Hunter Renfroe, Padres - .200 avg, 2 HR, 8 RBI, currently on DL
Adam Frazier, Pirates - .261 avg, 2 HR, 5 RBI
Jonathan Holder, Yankees- 6.23 ERA, 8 IP, 8Ks
Chris Stratton, Giants - 3.99 ERA, 2 W, 1 L, 38 K
Jacob Lindgren, Braves - on DL, 2nd TJ surgery

AAA:
Kendall Graveman - only 2 starts in AAA; got sent down a few weeks ago
Brandon Woodruff - also sent down recently; 2 W, 0 L, 1.89 ERA in AAA
Chad Girodo - was in AAA but was let go a few weeks ago, currently a FA
Evan Mitchell - 2.40 ERA,16 Ks in 15 IP
Dakota Hudson - 3-1, 3.03 ERA, 24 Ks in 36 IP

AA:
Jake Robson - .260, 1 HR, 9 RBI, 2 SB
Zac Houston - 4.2 IP, 8 Ks, 5.79 era

I looked up Evan Mitchell to see his walk rate. It is crazy high (7.20 per 9) at AAA this season, but just 10 ip. Surprisingly, he has been in the 3s and even 2s the last 2 seasons.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Lowe get called up. He's on a crazy tear. .395 I think with 5 bombs.

Hump has done well as a closer as well

Son and I are headed up to raft the Ocoee Saturday (1st time for both). We'll see Rooker and the Lookouts Saturday night. Gunna try and catch a Stolen Faces show Friday night at HiFi Clyde's - if management will let a 14 yr old hang out after 10pm. Fingers crossed.

Humphreys has 18 saves, and only 1 blown save and a 1.98 ERA in Advanced A. Supposed to be up to 96+ on his fastball.

The fact that Robson is hitting any bombs in the minors shows you just how dead the bats were during the 2013 season.
